Uniform Food Stamp Changes In Ohio Welfare Regulations
Ohio implements uniform federal Food Stamp Program revisions under Public Law 91-671, affecting eligibility and resources. Free stamps apply for small households under income thresholds, with new resource definitions that include non liquid assets while excluding certain items. Non welfare households face $1500 resource caps plus extra for older or multi person households. Dependent status restrictions limit participation by tax dependents and unemployed adults claimed as dependents.
