Police and detectives using tear gas forced five men and two women to surrender after a five hour siege at 436 Charlotte Street Detroit. The occupants, armed and linked to a robbery the previous Sunday, cursed officers before begging for mercy as gas was released through the door keyhole.
Mrs. R. P. Graham reports her husband R. P. Graham disappeared five days after their March 23 wedding in St. Paul. The couple traveled to Chicago where Graham planned to work and register at the Gren hotel. A new trace emerged on March 28.
