Auditor Expenditure Surpasses Receipts in Nelsonville Funds
Nelsonville sees municipal fund totals reflect a net shortfall as operating costs exceed receipts. March balances show shifts in general and utility funds, with specific changes in gasoline tax, automobile tax, electric light, water works, and sewer accounts. Also notes Jimmy Preston, son of the local postmaster, is serving in Seoul with the U.S. Army.
