Proper Inoculation Urged In Spring Soybean Planting
Athens County farmers are urged by Irvin A. Wolfe to inoculate soybean seed this spring, especially on land that has not grown the crop recently. Inoculation is cheap, simple, and boosts production and soil fertility, with gains in yield. It is crucial for new land and beneficial even on land with prior soybean crops. The Allied war effort relies on a strong soybean crop for oils and proteins. Commercial inoculants are recommended for ease of use.
