Easter Services Attract Large Attendance in Logan
Easter morning drew several hundred worshippers to sunrise services at the Chakeres Theater Building with Methodist United Brethren and Presbyterian churches sharing the program. Knights Templar of Logan Commandery No. 78 presented the lit cross ceremony as Rev. Cecil Jones offered the invocation and benediction and Rev. A. N. Grueser presided at readings. The day featured Baptisms, organ and choir performances, and soloists from multiple churches, with Holy Communion observed at Trinity Lutheran and St Mathews Lutheran choirs also presenting special numbers.
