Three Hour Good Friday Service in Nelsonville
A three hour Good Friday service sponsored by local churches will be held Friday afternoon April 11 at First Presbyterian Church from 12 noon to 3 PM. The program includes organ preludes invocations prayers hymns Scripture lessons meditations and multiple pastors and church members delivering prayers readings and songs with organists Miss Mary Louise Bowen and Charles Poston.

Young People Are To Give Program At Nazarene Church
Nelsonville Ohio The Church of the Nazarene under Pastor D E Maxson schedules Sunday School at 9:00 a m morning worship at 10 30 a m and evening service at 7 30 p m a combined program of music and recitations by the young people will close the service The midweek prayer and praise meets Thursday at 7 30 p m Work on a new church building on N Adams Street is under way and relocation to the new site is expected soon.

At the April F H A meeting Mothers Night is set for May 13 with guests to be entertained. A Style Show is planned for May 23 with no admission charged. Doris donations accepted. Irene Lovensheimer led the recreational period. refreshments were provided by Mercedean Bruce and others. Camera Club elected Bob Wilson president George Clark treasurer and Carl McCombs secretary with Harold Figley as sponsor. Plans for a camera contest were discussed. The On To Washington Club holds a school paper drive Saturday with collection from front porches or by calling 177 R or 348 J.

Easter Program For Doanville PTA
Doanville PTA met at the Community Center for the April session. The Doanville Choir performed several Easter numbers. Plans were laid for a spring festival on May 1.
