Lions Club builds four Harmon Field picnic tables
Three more picnic tables were added to Harmon Field by Lions Club members, bringing the total to four after they built the last three in one evening. They plan six more tables with materials on hand. Local lumber companies were thanked for donated wood. The city budgeted 1000 dollars for Harmon Field, with about half likely still available to assist. A wind driven street cleaner caused a dust storm as the city anticipates a future park. Mayor Hutchinson says a street sprinkler from an old garbage truck is nearing readiness to help.
