Ohio QB battle features two sophomores at helm
Ohio University opens spring with a four-man quarterback race led by sophomores Nathan Rourke and Quinton Maxwell. Rourke, a Canadian transfer, arrived after success at Edgewood Academy and Fort Scott CC while Maxwell, a former small-school standout, started last season and led the Bobcats through nine games with 1247 yards and eight TDs. Coach Frank Solich and quarterback mentor Scott Ispherding emphasize progress and readiness, with both Maxwell and Rourke rotating with the first team as the search for a clear leader continues.
