Pittsburg April 2. Police and detectives rushed to the United States arsenal at 40th and Butler Streets after reports four men tried to enter the facility and then fled in a waiting automobile. Lieut Buckley and Lieut Buck joined the chase as reserves and guards at the arsenal were heightened.
The Devil Dogs will tour Ohio and parts of Pennsylvania West Virginia and Kentucky to boost the next liberty loan drive. The Marine detail plans Cincinnati Cleveland Toledo Columbus Akron and Pittsburgh for the tour.
