Death of ex Commissioner Finsterwald near Guysville

The county mourns ex Commissioner Frederick Finsterwald aged about 70 who died at his home near Guysville on Thursday night. A Fairfield County native, he served two terms on the Board of County Commissioners and helped found the Childrens Home where he served as a trustee. His funeral was held at the Presbyterian Church near Guysville with large local attendance and floral tributes. He is laid to rest in Carthage township cemetery where other family members were interred.
