A man named Robert Young, a 45 year old from Oconee County, was found asleep in the basement feed room of the King Hodgson Company store on Broad and Oconee streets after a failed attempt to break into the cash drawer. Overcoat, tobacco, snuff and groceries were missing, with Young reportedly using Mr. Tom Comer’s overcoat as a pillow.
