Man Ends Life With Shotgun At Home
Thomas M. Aaron a long time mill employee died Sunday afternoon in his home in a grisly self inflicted shooting. He tied a trigger to a shotgun and using a string tied to his toe blew his head off. He had threatened suicide before and drank heavily in the days prior. He left a fifteen year old son and several children from two marriages. Funeral services were held at West End Baptist Church with Rev. A J Smith and Rev S R England officiating and interment at Oconee cemetery.
