Cow Gores Man in Grazing Accident
A cow injured Mr Elliott when it jerked its head during grazing, tearing flesh beneath the eye and causing a deep gash that required twelve stitches. He was up yesterday but his face remained swollen from the injury.
Y W C A prepares gym and swimming classes opening soon
The YWCA building nearing completion will open the gymnasium and begin gymnastics and swimming lessons next week. Registration is September 15 with morning, afternoon, and evening classes. Electric or Gas Trucks Debated by Athens City Council
Last night the mayor and council opened a regular meeting with talks on whether to buy an electric two ton truck for the sanitary department or a gasoline truck.
