Atlanta Gas Rates Rise to Lighten Household Budgets
Atlanta residents face higher bills as the state railroad commission approves a one cent fare increase and rate hikes for electricity and gas. A typical light bill rises by about 8 cents monthly, costing 96 cents more yearly for a average home, while gas users consuming 7000 cubic feet monthly see about $2.10 extra per month.
