Yesterday morning Dr Isidore Koplowitz professor of Hebrew at the University of Georgia led devotional services at the chapel. He was possibly the first Hebrew rabbi and faculty member to lead. Elberton Ga October 2 Judge Joseph M Worley recently appointed by Governor Smith to succeed Judge H M Holden has received his commission and been sworn in He will preside at his first court in Warrenton.

The university maintains a high curriculum and advises unprepared applicants to seek other schools until ready. In the past two weeks twenty applicants were redirected for insufficient training.
Dr. B. G. Boardman, longtime pastor of the First Baptist church in this place, has resigned and leaves tomorrow for Baltimore where he will reside in the future.
