Yesterday the executive committee of State Agricultural College trustees approved plans for a new Farm Mechanics building. The 40 by 100 foot structure will be near the main building, with occupancy expected by January first. Planning also covered extended extension work for next year, contingent on securing personnel from government or other sources. Members present were Judge Andrew J. McMullan and Col. John T. Newton. Dr. Lem G. Hardman was absent.
In Clarke county a plain case titled J. S. Christian vs L. Cutler centered on a cow sold for beef. The beef allegedly did not meet promised specs, payment was refused, the beef was hauled away as garbage, and Judge Young granted a compromise judgment. The matter is appealed to a superior court jury. No money or beef changed hands.
Yesterday afternoon two leading Clayton Street merchants, J. P. Fears and F. D. Gillen, arrested a small boy for stealing a harness and took him to the city hall. The boy, called Lamboette, was later released after the father returned the missing harness.

Sunday night around eight Calvin Barnett of Princeton factory stepped off a moving street car at Milledge avenue and Lumpkin street and was thrown to the ground.
