Rev A G Richards, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church Mobile for five years, has accepted a call to Emmanuel Church Athens Georgia. He will succeed Rev Troy Beatty who leaves Grace Church Memphis November first. Richards, a native of Western Maryland and Hobart College graduate, came to Mobile in 1911 from Lake Forest Illinois, and recently visited Athens to confer with the vestry and conduct services. He was warmly received and is expected to be welcomed by the Athens parish.
