The Banner invites district candidates to submit subscriptions at the Holman Building from 9 AM to 12 noon Monday. The two highest totals in Athens District No 1 and outside Athens District No 2 win two tickets each to Monday’s Prince of Pilsen at the Colonial. Subscriptions count toward the first vote period ending Saturday and toward a later special vote ending November 27. The paper promises Christmas awards and a Santa Claus role for many subscribers.

Senate Advocates Budget Increases For Georgia Institutions
