Atlanta November 4 Tyrus Raymond Cobb narrowly escaped being removed from the tracks at the Atlanta Speedway. A bystander incident and a warning from manager J M Nye preceded a tense scene with Cobb who warned a friend to stay clear. Meanwhile the sixteenth annual session of the Association of Colleges and Preparatory Schools of the Southern States closed with a social smoker hosted by the University of Georgia. Officers were elected with Barnwell of Alabama as President and Moore of Vanderbilt as Secretary Treasurer. The next meeting location remains unsettled, with an invitation extended from the University of Alabama.
