Two Auto Accidents In That Many Days
Sunday morning a collision occurred at the turn of Water and Strickland streets Barbourville road between an automobile driven by Mr McBride Howell and a horse drawn buggy driven by Mr Charlie Allgood of Barberville. The crash left the buggy smashed and both occupants thrown clear while the child suffered the worst injuries though not life threatening. Howell escaped without hurt and minor vehicle damage. Allgood was scratched bruised and shaken. the child’s injury initially feared serious was later deemed not to be. A second incident saw a light car driven by C D Cox Jr collide with a Prince Avenue streetcar. the boy and a colored passenger were thrown out and scratched but not seriously injured.
