Runaway Accident Injures Four near Nantahala Avenue

On Nantahala Avenue yesterday a buggy mishap at the corner of Nantshals and Naccochee injured Ben Thornton Nora Fleemar Mattie Gainer and Nora Fierman. Gainer suffered a broken leg and severe injuries, Thornton and the others escaped serious harm and Gainer is recovering under medical care.

Winnie Davis Memorial fund benefits from May Party

The Daughters of the Confederacy cleared fifty dollars on the May Party at the opera house to aid the Winnie Davis Memorial hall. Total receipts were $1810 with expenses at $29. A fifty dollar check was sent to Mrs. Eve, Winnie Davis fund treasurer, in August.

Athens Chamber of Commerce to hear plans for Athens Carnesville railway

The Athens Chamber of Commerce faces a meeting Monday to discuss a proposed Athens to Carnesville electric railway. Picnic at Hutchins Run by Ocmec Street Sunday School

Warrants Dismissed in Drs Ryder Constantine Case

The warrants against Dr. C. A. Ryder and Dr. O. A. Constantine for assault and battery have been dismissed at the request of Mr. Dr. McGregor who preferred no prosecution.
