Announcement notes Mr Brower will lead community singing at the Chautauqua and perform at the morning service at First Methodist Church. They left for a brief wedding trip and will reside at the groom’s country home on Mitchells Bridge road. Elizabeth comes from a prominent Oconee county family but has lived in Athens for several years and is praised for her cheerful disposition. Leon is the son of W T Lester, a prominent local citizen.
