Athens Exhibits Chicago Paintings Free Admittance Last Day
The Athens Civic Club presents a small exhibit of Chicago artists’ paintings at Parr’s steel on Lumpkin street. Admission was charged for two days to cover costs, but today is the last day and will be open free to the public. The collection includes 23 works mostly landscapes and features pieces by Jessie Evans Dahlgreen Irvine and Peyrand. The club plans more exhibitions next winter to foster an art atmosphere locally.
