Governor Terrell issued a requisition on California for March Potter the former cashier of the Davisboro Bank of Washington County Georgia on embezzlement of about 24000 dollars and forgery and larceny after trust. Savannah agent Thomas Hewitt to escort Potter back to Sandersville for prosecution with Davisboro Bank offering a $1000 reward.

Cancelled bonds were not burned in Georgia capitol incident
Atlanta authorities halted plans to burn old gold quarterly bonds and coupons after discovering destroying them could erase vital evidence for potential suits. About 500 bonds, valued at 1,000 each and issued under 1870 act, were not issued and may indicate a larger 2.5 million total.
