Mrs. Clarke Leaves Home Under Mysterious Circumstances

Mrs. William F. Clarke of Baxter Street vanished Tuesday noon after leaving a letter for her oldest daughter Jennie. At the Cobb-Delaney camp meeting Mir A L Hull presented Captain McMahan with a gold headed walking cane as a token of esteem for his soldiering and leadership. Later, a brawl erupted with five white men named Bob Rice William Bray Thad Bray Lee Escoe and Joe Escoe involved, injuring Escoe Lee Escoe with cuts and stab wounds and Thad Bray with leg injuries and a head knock.
