Funeral of Miss M. E. Porter Held at Residence
The funeral of Miss Mary Estelle Porter was held yesterday at noon at her sister Mrs Andrew M Soule’s Milledge avenue home. Floral tributes shaded with roses spoke volumes of affection. Services were led by Rev. E L Hill with Rev. J D Mell assisting. alumni sang three hymns. At four the remains were taken to the Seaboard Air Line depot for transport to Baltimore for interment.

Federal Court to Open Overflow Term June Tenth
The federal court will convene an overflow term on June 11 after adjourning a morning session. Judge Newman announced the adjourned term will hear civil business only with about sixty cases previously tried for moonshining. Case Pushes Through From One to Another in Mayor Court
