The death of Miss Idaline characie Marable occurred yesterday at home in Oconee County. The 16 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Marable was buried yesterday afternoon at Antioch Church. Burial followed a funeral held at the church in Antioch.

Officer Hurt In Bicycle Accident On Baxter Street
Patrolman J P McCall was thrown from his bicycle on Baxter Street while returning from a scouting trip with Patrolman John Short. He suffered severe injuries including a broken shoulder and is expected to be out of work for several weeks according to doctors. The crash happened when the bicycle chain broke and the wheel went out of control on the steep grade.
