Miss Sallie Osborne, long esteemed in the city, died Sunday at her home after a brief illness. Funeral held yesterday in Oconee county by Reverend Leonard, her former pastor, with burial in the family cemetery. Many friends mourn her loss.

Dog Shot After Suspected Madness on Clayton Street

On Clayton Street residents pursued a dog owned by Mr. Erwin believed to be mad after it displayed frothing and aggression near Han cock Avenue. Alumni Endowment Committee Recommends Campus Land Loan and Building Fund

The committee on the alumni endowment met on campus and approved a 40000 loan to the university trustees to buy more land for the campus for two years. It also recommends building a YMCA and gymnasium costing 75000 funded by the alumni fund, contingent on a 35000 contribution by June 1, 1906 from state YMCA supporters and friends.
