Alumni Meeting at University of Georgia Endorses Hall Idea
The Alumni society of the University of Georgia met on campus presided by Hon. P. W. Meldrim. Subscribers announced a fund near fifty thousand dollars with most of it paid in and two years to mature. Subscriptions topped three hundred dollars at the gathering as plans for an alumni hall and class reunions were approved. Chancellor Hill announced Mabie for next year’s baccalaureate and resolutions honored Dr. Archenus H. Mitchell with a portrait and greetings. The day closed with campus events and commencement programs.
