Also features trunks and dress suit cases among the diverse supply.
A local retailer advertises a week long clearance featuring colored and fancy wool dress goods, silks, trimmings, linens, lace, ribbons, and accessories. Numerous items priced well below normal, including shirts, skirts, lace, embroidery, buttons, shoes, trunks, and white goods. Davison & Lowe promotes new shipments of white goods, black woolens, laces, pearls, and ribbons.

The Banner reports Gainesville relief fund totals include cash of 1105 dollars and 20 cents and 5 dollars from Dr W P Lovejoy, with a total of 1110 dollars 30 cents. Clothing valued at 500 dollars from Athens plus a large Gainesville relief box from Danielsville has been forwarded. The notice also promotes Kodol Dyspepsia Cure and Chamberlains Stomach and Liver Tablets sold locally.

Dr. D. H. McNeill of Athens was elected corresponding secretary of the Georgia State Dental Society at the Tallulah Falls annual meeting last week. He is regarded as a fine young man and will fulfill the duties to the society’s satisfaction.
The Southern Railway offers special weekend tickets on Saturdays through September 12 at greatly reduced round trip fares. Tickets are available to Atlanta and Tallulah Falls on some Saturdays and to Asheville Hot Springs Arden Fletcher Hendersonville Flat Rock Saluda and Tryon on all Saturdays with return by the Tuesday after the sale date.
