Under instructions from State School Commissioner the annual examination for license to teach in Clarke county public schools will be held Friday and Saturday June 29 and 30 for colored teachers at the county courthouse starting 8 a.m. and for white teachers at the Washington Street School building starting 9:45 a.m. Applicants must register at the County School Commissioner’s office by 1 p.m. June 28. Registration opens June 11. By order of County Board of Education Thomas I Dozier C. S. C May 31st 1906.
