Sermon on Religion and Public Life by Bishop Candler
The commencement sermon urged ministers in training to preach the gospel and not seek political power. Bishop Candler warned that faith in divine force cannot be replaced by statutes or ballots. He noted Christ avoided reform movements and focused on the Kingdom of God. The report also covers farming notes on late sweet potato crops, vine cuttings reducing disease, and Georgia Experiment Station findings. H. P. Stuckey, Director.
