Rural Carriers Meet in Royston for Eighth District Report
The Rural Letter Carriers Association of the Eighth Congressional District met at Royston on May 30 with Col. Adams welcoming members and Fred L. White delivering the response. Congressman Samuel J. Death of Mr J H Joiner at Forty-Two on Foundry Street
Mr J H Joiner died last night at about seven at his home on Foundry street after a period of illness. He was forty two, leaving a wife, several children, a mother and three brothers. Funeral arrangements were pending as of late night and services are planned for tomorrow. He was well known and respected in the community.
