A public Manual Arts Exhibit opens in the Smith building showcasing woodwork drawing color work and basketry from all four grades with decorative pieces and bookbinding.

Early Morning Fire Destroys Delmar Cafe Building
A fire at the Delmar Cafe on Clayton Street started shortly after 2 AM and rapidly gutted the Delmar store and upper rooms.
