Atlanta July 20 The Bale Brown state wide local option bill drawn by Rep John W Bale Floyd county and endorsed by Rep L C Brown Clarke was introduced in the house and sent to the temperance committee. The committee meets Thursday at 9 to hear the Fullbright Eakes substitutes and other prohibition bills including the Hutcheson and Stark syrups tax proposal. Debate and hearings likely push action to the next meeting with possible pro and con arguments on all measures before a report is made. Some supporters tie passage to finance by taxing syrups and tinctures used in soft drinks.
