Death of H C McGinty Pellagra Victim Buried in Athens
Mr H C McGinty aged 52 died Sunday morning after a pellagra illness at home on Henderson avenue. He leaves a wife and two children Mrs W A Jackson and H S McGinty Jr. The funeral was held Monday at 3:30 pm from the Henderson Avenue residence with Rev M L Troutman officiating and burial at Oconee Cemetery. He was remembered as an excellent citizen and Christian gentleman.
