Boar Runs Wild Through Dearing Street District
A huge boar escaped its pen on Dearing Street Thursday afternoon terrorizing residents. Police pursued the maddened animal after it charged an officer. officers eventually cornered it with aid from the boar’s owners Lewis Johnson and Long Brown. The mayor released the owners on the condition the animal is slaughtered before New Year’s Day and kept confined until the butcher’s arrival.
