Camp Gordon Soldier Died of Mastoiditis at 25
Albert Gordon, a Jackson County native and former Athens resident, died yesterday at Camp Gordon from mastoiditis after a brief illness. Son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Gordon of Jefferson, he was 25 and will be buried there after funeral services. He was a nephew of Mrs. Rosa Booth of Athens and a farewell sorrow is noted by friends in Athens and Jackson County.
