Attempted theft on college campus

Saturday night an attempted burglary occurred at the University Co operative Association store room on campus. A young man, possibly a student, fled with several books after a proprietor entering the room confronted him. The would be thief had placed books on a table but fled in darkness. Police pursue leads. if identified as a student, he will be expelled and face state court action.
