Mrs Elizabeth Eidson died at her home in Oglethorpe County Wednesday night at o clock. Funeral services will be conducted from Temple Church Friday morning at 11 o'clock with Rev C S Hodges officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery with B Dunaway in charge. She was eighty two years old and survived by one daughter Mrs J T Griffeth two sons Mr J N Eidson and Mr C R Eidson ofso and one sister Mrs Sallie Smith of Oglethorpe County. She had been an active White Woman member for many years. Pallbearers named Messrs T P Tribble R T Culberson C J Hayes RW Godfrey E D Coile and M Shackelford.
The Ath ens Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold its annual meeting at the chapter headquarters in the court house Friday afternoon at 6 o'clock.

Nine federal prisoners held in Clarke county jail for isolation awaiting the dope trial at the Atlanta federal penitentiary have been summoned to Atlanta for a hearing on January 3. It is expected they will be sent about January 2. They previously went to Atlanta as witnesses and were returned. During their first stay here they complained about food and noted the discomfort of staying in the Atlanta tower for several days.
