Editors of Eighth District Convene at Athens Meeting

Editors from the eighth district gathered in Athens for their first convention since a recent upheaval. Dorsey urged unity to restore the press after the downturn, urging editors to support current advertising rates and resist monopolies while outlining plans for reorganization. The group welcomed Athens Daily News and adjourned after a luncheon at the Georgia Hotel with a city tour and thanks expressed by attendees.
