Funeral services for Max Joseph, longtime Athens resident, will be held Thursday at 2 PM in Bernstein Bros. chapel. Dr. David Marks of Atlanta will officiate. Interment will follow at Oconee Cemetery. Joseph died Tuesday in Hendersonville NC after a paralytic attack at a sanitarium. He was 72.
