More than 350 laundry proprietors from North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Alabama are expected, part of a 500-member body. Heidler, Athens Empire Steam Laundry, is a vice president and founder of the organization born in Athens. Athens takes pride as the foster parent of the group.

Mrs J F Clodfelter died Sunday afternoon at her home in Oconee County. She was a prominent and highly esteemed lady. The funeral and burial followed yesterday afternoon at the family cemetery near the homeplace. Early Sunday morning the casket of Mr H C Conway was moved to the Seaboard station for transport to Atlanta. Trial of Roberts in Clarke County Court Ends in Two-Year Sentence
Yesterday morning the Clarke superior court resumed the trial of W. O. Roberts for larceny after trust while employed by the Singer Sewing Machine Company. A guilty verdict brought a two year sentence. Attorneys Crossley and Mahaffey plan a motion for a new trial. Cemetery trustees enact fishing ban and beautification plan
A meeting of the Oconee cemetery trustees at Chancellor Barrow’s office addressed complaints about fishing in the river through the cemetery. The Baxter street school wins the prize offered by the Athens Woman's Club for securing the largest number of subscriptions to the Woman's Edition of the Constitution to aid the Ella F White Memorial Fund. Body of Charles Judevine in Undertaker’s Custody Since Jan 13 1913
The body of Charles R Judevine, about fifty and a traveling medicine salesman, has rested at Bernstein Brothers undertakers since January 13 1913 after his death January 18 from yellow jaundice and rheumatism. No clear burial plans or wishes exist from relatives in North Adams Massachusetts, and the family remains uncertain about final rites and interment. He left funds for a decent burial but offered no instructions.
