A large crowd gathered despite bad weather as Col. E. K. Lumpkin reported the constitution and bylaws for the Southern Poultry Association. Officers elected include HH Rowe president, J. Y. Carthers second vice president, J. C. Jester treasurer, and Louise L. Upson secretary. The first show starts December, with dues set at two dollars initiation and one dollar yearly.

Cadet Corps Inspection At University Of Georgia
Regular army officers will inspect the University of Georgia cadet corps in Athens at nine this morning in full grey uniforms. The annual event, moved up from Thursday, requires all cadets to attend and spread the notice to classmates. Officers travel from North Georgia Agricultural College at Dahlonega for the inspection and equipment review.

Funeral of Little Annie Williamson
The two year old Annie Winnifred Williamson died of diphtheria at her home on Virginia avenue. Her funeral and burial at Oconee cemetery will be conducted this morning by Rev. Dr. E. L. Hill, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. The Williamson family receives sympathy from friends and neighbors.
