Notices blend university drill exhortation with obituary details for Miss Mary Perdue who died yesterday morning after a lengthy illness. Funeral plans are set for 11 am at the Christian church, with interment in Oconee cemetery and pallbearers listed.
Yesterday at Beth Haven church in Madison county the funeral and burial were held for Mrs. Lamar Barber who died at her home after a few days illness. She leaves a husband and five small children. She was the daughter of Mr C J Clements of Athens and had many relatives and friends in Athens.

Wilder the Georgia pitcher starred as Georgia defeated Michigan 7 to 0 on Sanford Field.
