Clarke county authorizes two hundred thousand dollars in bonds for a courthouse. The measure sparks revival and urges school bond campaigns to relieve crowded classrooms, with a six month city option on property valuation and a plan to keep the site for educational use and park amenities.
Continued bankruptcy hearings reveal a $50,000 mortgage on a $30,000 oil mill plant and additional loans by officers. Bankers, creditors, and attorneys questioned the use of bond proceeds and operating funds as the case proceeds toward a full accounting and next hearing set for the 27th in Athens.

Yesterday the University of Georgia athletic association amended its constitution to elect separate managers for baseball and football and to use a plurality vote for officers. A meeting is set for April 9 at 1 p m in the chapel to elect two football managers under the new rules, with four students named to the board of directors to choose the managers and designate them manager and financial manager.
