Pleaded Guilty To $100000 Train Robbery
Henry Grady Webb pleaded guilty in federal court to joining a gang that robbed a Baltimore & Ohio train near Central station on October 9, 1915, of $100000 in unsigned currency. Mrs George C Thomas died at 10 17 last night at her home at Broad and Hull after an eighteen month illness borne with patience. She lived most of her life in Athens and was survived by her husband Judge George C Thomas, son W Milton Thomas, daughter Mrs A C Edwards, and sister Miss Mary McWhirter. Funeral from the residence Thursday at 11 am, Rev E L Hill officiating, interment in Oconee cemetery. Pallbearers not yet selected.
