Albert Mi Knapp past grand commander of Oregon Knights Templar and member of Portland lodges and chapters died at his Portland home aged 69. Born January 8 1845 in Lenawee County Michigan he moved to California then Portland in 1898. He held multiple Masonic ranks and served as grand commander of Oregon in 1908, plus roles with Willamette Lodge Portland Chapter Oregon Commandery and Al Kader Temple Shrine. He leaves widow Henrietta E. Knapp and two children B. K. Knapp and Miss Luella Knapp.

The Dalles marked the burial of Judge Joseph G. Wilson, brought from Marietta Ohio where he was interred in 1873, beside his wife Elizabeth M. Wilson who died in The Dalles last February. The transfer honored the judge's wish to rest beside his wife. Fred W. Wilson, a local attorney and Republican figure, is among surviving children. Wilson helped shape Oregon law as district attorney, clerk and reporter of the supreme court, and a supreme court justice. the first three volumes are his name. As circuit judge in the 1860s his jurisdiction stretched across Eastern Oregon.
