Three marriage licenses were issued Saturday. The couples include George VP and Honey 1%, both of Stanfield, along with Lelores Marie McFern 17 of Stanfield and Clarence M. Caching 23 of Pendleton. Charles Eveland 84 of Ritter and Fannie Weller of Pendleton completed the trio.

A Hallowe'en Frolic Benefit for Red Cross at High School

Idaho Boy Gains Fame in Air Battle Over Ypres

Richard J Zolline of Detroit notes his son, American aviator Calling, a 28 year old University of Idaho graduate, single handedly downed one of seven German aircraft near Ypres during a dogfight. He dove from above, evaded fire, and escaped, gaining fame for his act aboard a Pi squadron.
