Pendleton County Library to Host Annual Meeting Tomorrow
Won will hold an annual meeting in the county library club room at Pendleton beginning at 10 a.m. An instructive program is planned. Hunters Bert Logsdon Sheldon Taylor Dean Dudley George Finch of Athena and Emory Worthington of Pendleton returned Tuesday. Finch and Logsdon each bagged a deer. Last week guests at the Watts home included Press and Frank Anderson Seattle and Portland, Stanford Anderson and family, and Mrs. Markham Anderson of Walla Walla. FE. A. Dudley bought 885 acres near Dayton with 325 more leased. twenty head of mules and farm equipment accompany the land deal. Verne Dudley will operate the holdings near the state highway two miles from Dayton. The 0. C. QO. club met October 18 with 17 members. tributes to Mrs. George Johnston by Mrs. Lawrence Pinkerton and Mrs. Floyd Pinkerton preceded a gift of an Indian robe. Johnston and family move to Prescott, Washington. Refreshments served by Mrs. Jesse Smith and Mrs. Joyce Smith. Next meeting set for October 27 at Mrs. Archie McIntyre’s with guests Mrs. Gray, Mrs. Harden and Mrs. Hadley.
